Description: Pax tells the moving story of Peter, a young boy, and his beloved pet fox, Pax, who have been inseparable since Peter rescued Pax as a kit. When war approaches their home, Peter’s father, a soldier, forces Peter to abandon Pax in the wild before sending Peter to live with his grandfather. Almost immediately, Peter is overcome with guilt and worry for his fox, realizing Pax may not survive on his own.
