Description:

Stanley Lambchop is famous for being completely flat, and now he wants to join his school's rounders team. Being flat turns out to be surprisingly useful on the pitch, helping Stanley do things other players simply cannot do. But not everyone on the team thinks it is fair for such an unusual player to join in, and Stanley must prove that being different does not mean being less capable. Full of humour and gentle sports action, this easy chapter book shows how Stanley's unique shape becomes his greatest strength, and how true teamwork means welcoming everybody, however they look.
