Description:

Ghastly-Gorm Hall is getting ready for a grand garden party and baking competition, and famous cooks are arriving for the big day. As usual, Maltravers, the indoor gamekeeper, is acting very suspiciously. Meanwhile, Ada’s lady’s maid Marylebone, who lives in a wardrobe, has received a marriage proposal! Ada is determined to help true love and to uncover Maltravers’s plan. But with so much going on, everyone, even her father, seems to have forgotten her birthday! This second Goth Girl book is funny, spooky and beautifully illustrated.
